UPCOMING SERIES

GET IN THE GROOVE

BODY AS TEMPLE Wednesdays 5-6:30pm starting March 12, 2025.  This is an 8 week, mirror-free, sensory based dance series. In this program we will connect movement with self-love, pleasure, and empowerment. This curriculum is designed to be accessible for the neurodivergent/disabled mover: with self-pacing, lots of movement modifications, props, and scheduled breaks. Syllabus provided in advance so you can know what to expect from week to week. Savannah Renauldi is a dance artist, and facilitator who creates inclusive spaces that foster community and connection to self.

ONGOING SERIES

ADULT BEGINNER BALLET —classical technique, but injury preventative, body neutral, and non-competitive. Tuesdays 5:30-7pm

ADULT BEGINNER CONTEMPORARY —stretching & conditioning, modern dance principles, improv skills. Thursdays 5:30-7pm

EXCHANGE: *Currently paused* —partnering, contact improv, workshop space for collaborative movement. Mondays 5:30-7pm

STUdio GUIDLINES

  • WHERE?

    Moving Parts Dance is located at 302 Columbia Street in downtown Olympia. Park in front, enter through the side door!

  • When?

    Arrive to class 5-15 minutes prior to start time to allow for time to pay, stretch, and settle in

  • Wear

    Tight, stretchy layers comfortable for movement. Secure your hair and remove large jewelry pieces. Please no body oils or fragrances!
